Oi! We’re still here you know!

But yeah, 2020 was not a great year for us. When lockdown one began we decided to take a step back. We don’t make enough to live on from our brewery but we know plenty of people whose livelihoods depend on their brewery’s income and felt it wasn’t the right time to complete. We had a few odds and ends to sell off but when they went we went quiet.

And then summer came. It was time for Rishi’s ‘Eat out to help out’ and the pubs were kind of open. We decided to dust off the brewing kit and to start creating again. Over the next couple of months we brewed a mixture of classics and brand new beers and we were ready…

Just as lockdown 2 arrived. Autumn saw the pubs close again and, as we write this, remain so. We only package our beer in kegs which means we’re limited to selling to pubs. As a result our kegs remain in the brewery. Ready for the big time and dreaming of hitting the stage.

We will be back but, at the moment, we just can’t tell you when that’s going to be. There is something on the horizon and we’ll tell you more when we can.

For now, though, we just want to say how much we love the world of beer and brewing and miss it enormously. We’re hoping that the bars and restaurants who have taken our beer in the past are doing OK and that the breweries we admire so much will see the other side and bounce back when they can.

And when they can we’re going to have quite a party…
